    The article "Can A Video Game Lead To Murder?" helps me with my question: how do video games help teen's behavior? This article is about an 18 year old named Devin Moore who killed three people. It said that he played the game Grand Theft Auto for a hundreds of hours. He used the officer's gun that took him in. he shot all three people in the head.

Research Memo 1

Hypothesis:
My research is about student's behavior in school when video games are played. Should video games be used to help student's behavior in school? My hypothesis is that more people will say that violent video games will have a bad effect. There are a lot of news reports that say those types of games are bad, and there are a lot of people doing things in the games that are not in the law.
Context:
I am from ECHS and this research is for the high school students who play video games. I pick high school students because high school students play more violent video games. More people said that violent video games have a bad effect on your behavior when you play them.

Data Analysis
The most people who took my surveys when 15 year olds and students in the 10^th grade. A lot of the students who took the survey said that they don't play video games a lot. The games that people picked the most where the violent video games. The ones that were picked the most are shooter action and action-adventure these types of games are mostly violent ones. The audience suggested they play these games to help them calm their behavior. A lot of students said that playing video games help them get into less fights, and pay more attention in class. 52% of the students said that violent video games do not have a bad effect on students and 80% say that they do not get in trouble form playing video games. 80% of the students say that video games should not be used to help student's behavior in school and 56$ say they don't do better in school when they play video games.

Conclusion
I was wrong on my hypothesis because more students said that violent video games do not have a bad effect on them.

There are many types of video games that could affect someone’s behavior. The ones that get played a lot are shooter, action, action-adventure, and adventure. I play many video games that help me calm down when I am done with my schoolwork. I play shooter games when I get mad to calm down for I do not hart someone. I play action games when I am upset about something and I do not want to talk about it. I play action-adventure games or adventure games when I have nothing else to do or when I am waiting for something. The video game that could help different people could be different then someone else games that help them calm down. Some people play games and think they can do what they did in the games. People die when they do that or go to jail. After playing video games, some people do things that they cannot do outside video games.
